CLAIM is a university/corporate partnership dedicated to advancing the applications of laser technology with such materials processing and manufacturing applications as welding, drilling, cladding, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), ablation, direct metal deposition (DMD), and surface treatment. An additional goal of CLAIM is to facilitate technology transfer between the university research environment and industry.
